The Palms hotel stands proud, on the world famous Collins Avenue. The hotel oozes 1940's Style, in keeping with its art deco routes of the twenties.
The rooms are spacious and modern and some feel more like beachside apartments, which is an added bonus, especially in Miami where rooms can often be on the slightly smaller side. I really appreciate the decor and all of these points were the reason I went back to stay at the Royal Palm shortly after.
The Plus Points
Situated at the top of Colins Avenue with direct access straight onto the beach, there couldn't be a better location.
Ask for a sea view, we stayed initially in the building to the left hand side with an external walkway and then on our second visit in the main building (Yes, we liked it that much we went back!) But we much preferred the first room, more spacious by far and this element made the stay feel more luxurious.
The little things
THE BREAKFAST OFFERING - I feel for the price, they could have a better selection of food, especially to cater for specific dietary requirements.
TOILETRIES - I'm not a fan of toiletries being fastened to the wall, nice toiletries on offer, but I would have preferred the smaller variety.
